Peter Walsh
Managing Director
Peter has extensive and diverse industry experience spanning more than 25 years across tunnelling, piling, wastewater, rail, and highways.
Prior to Joining VolkerHighways, Peter was responsible for highways maintenance contracts across a broad portfolio that included integrated, mixed economy, term maintenance and private finance initiative contracts.
Andrew Wilbram
Commercial Director
Andrew has over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry, including 17 years working in the VolkerWessels UK group.
He is responsible for all commercial matters across VolkerHighways and ensures robust and effective commercial leadership and processes for existing and future projects.
Simon Groom
Finance Director
Simon joined VolkerHighways’ senior management team in 2023, having spent nine years working with sister business unit, VolkerFitzpatrick.
As a chartered accountant, he has over 15 years’ experience leading and developing finance teams in large corporate organisations. In his previous role at VolkerFitzpatrick, Simon was responsible for all aspects of financial management for the business, working closely with the board and gaining valuable insight into major civil engineering projects, such as HS2.
Kunle Kolaru
Operations Director
Kunle joined VolkerHighways in 2013 as managing director of our central London joint venture, CVU. In 2017, he took on a wider role in VolkerHighways as operations director.
With nearly 30 years of civil engineering experience, his skills include directing infrastructure maintenance, major construction projects, and the mobilisation and delivery of central and local government contracts.
Stuart Savage
Work Winning Director
Stuart brings over two decades of experience in work winning and business development. Prior to joining VolkerHighways, he successfully pursued and secured strategic highways maintenance contracts, encompassing both fully integrated delivery and framework contracts.
His operational background spans utilities, highways maintenance, and project execution, giving him a well-rounded perspective to secure future work for VolkerHighways.
