VolkerHighways take home two CCS National Site Awards!
VolkerHighways is delighted to announce that they have been awarded two Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) National Site Awards this year.
Representatives from VolkerHighways’ Camden and Havering, Barking and Dagenham teams attended the ceremony in London’s Plaisterers' Hall on Thursday 11 April.
The Camden contract received a Bronze Award and the Havering, Barking and Dagenham contract was awarded Silver.
The awards recognise those sites registered with the CCS, that have made the greatest contribution towards improving the image of the construction industry.
The scheme looks at the steps each site has taken to be more considerate towards their neighbourhood, public, workforce, and the environment in which they work.
Jason Convey, senior HSEQS manager for VolkerHighways, said: “I am delighted that our business has once again been recognised by the CCS for our ongoing commitment to the communities in which we work. These awards reflect the hard work our teams put in every day, to help promote a positive image of construction.”
