Highway asset management
VolkerHighways has an established highway asset management team, providing expert advice and technical support to local highway authorities and private/unadopted road asset owners. We make recommendations and assist our clients in implementing an effective highway asset management system that is aligned with the UK Roads Liaison Group (UKRLG) Code of Practice.
This includes carrying out asset management GAP analysis, drafting asset management policies and strategies and in-depth highway asset management plans, and updating highway management and maintenance procedures. We also provide life cycle analysis, budgeting, performance management and planning.
