A13 resurfacing

The project was priced, mobilised and completed within three weeks. In addition, thanks to VolkerHighways’ high-quality delivery, while on site, RMS asked the business to carry out additional works, and the team completed a further 350m² of patching. This reduced the cost of remobilisation and traffic management set-up, providing better value for money for the client.

• Works included Movers Lane west bound off slip where 40mm of existing surface was planed off due to the surface rutting and a loss of texture, and replaced with specialised low carbon stone mastic asphalt
• Laid 2,500m² of new surface along the main dual carriageway, between Wennington Interchange and Ferry Lane Interchange
• Resurfaced the Ferry Lane on slip and off slip and Commercial Road near Limehouse Link.
