The Gold Medal Award is presented to those organisations who have achieved five to nine consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards. VolkerHighways has won Gold Medal Awards for the last three years, as a result of achieving eight consecutive years of Gold Awards.

The award celebrates the business’ health and safety performance throughout 2017 and will be presented at a prestigious ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, on 4 July.

Jason Convey, senior HSEQs manager for VolkerHighways said: “I am delighted that VolkerHighways has once again received recognition from RoSPA with this, our eighth Gold Award. Our teams continually work hard to maintain our safety performance and this award is testament to their dedication.”

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of qualifications, awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards are the most highly-respected in the health and safety arena, with almost 2,000 entrants every year, and allow organisations to prove excellence in the workplace, demonstrating a commitment to the wellbeing of not only employees but all those who interact with it.”
