Two separate park areas were fitted with natural play elements including large rocks, boulders and an old tree trunk.  These were complimented by groves of trees and sensory planting to promote the area as an inner city nature reserve.

One of the objectives of the project was to encourage local residents and users of the park to become more active and lead a healthier lifestyle.  To support this aim, a Play and Trim Trail with timber fitness equipment was installed with mulch surfacing on the ground for safety.  In addition to this our team installed an asphalt Multi Use Games Area fitted with basketball hoops and court lines.  Visitors of the park use these facilities to keep fit or use the new seating to take a rest.

The scheme demonstrates our multi-service capability with the installation of general and feature lighting and the laying of granite paving to hard landscaped areas within the park.  Effective site management on this multi-disciplinary project ensured the safety of operatives and the general public was protected at all times.
