VolkerHighways apprenticeship scheme runs across our specialist Projects division and Highways Maintenance Contracts in London.
It offers trainees a combination of on-site training and assessment with classroom-based learning, to bring them to NVQ Level 2 in General Construction Operations (GCO), and to gain their Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card and New Roads & Street Works Act (NRSWA) ticket .
Our apprentices attend the National Construction College at Cathall Road, North London on a 4 week rotation between the college and site.
After successfully completing their two-year apprenticeship, the apprentices have the opportunity to continue their employment within the Highway Services Division.
