VolkerHighways works on some of the busiest road networks in the UK and is committed to the safety and wellbeing of its employees and the environment. To promote the safety culture within our business we roll out initiatives that refresh and develop the safety knowledge of our employees. This includes improving the leadership skills of our managers and supervisors, working with community care groups and rewarding exceptional safety performance.
Our positive approach to safety continues to be recognised by independent safety organisations. In recent years, VolkerHighways has received awards from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents and the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
It is our aim to have zero accidents or incidents throughout our organisation.
